A Statement From the Rowntree Players Committee

We can confirm that former member of Rowntree Players, Andy Welch, has been has been sentenced for possession of indecent images of children after appearing in Crown Court on 2nd November 2023.
​
As soon as we were notified of the investigation, Rowntree Players stopped all membership and involvement with him.
​
We understand from the police that the investigation has not found that any of the images relate to anyone involved in Rowntree Players.
​
